Edit Steps1Get an egg carton and cut it. Make sure that you have a 6-count holder intact, so if you have a 18-count container, you'll need 1/3 of the box, while a 12-count container, you'll only need to cut it in half length-wise.

2Turn it upside down and paint it with green acrylic paint. Leave it on the side to dry completely.

3Cut two small slits with kitchen scissors, box cutter or one hole punch at one of the ends. This is where the antenna will go.

4Weave a yellow pipe cleaner through the slits. Make them stand upwards as antennas, cut if needed. Glue the pipe cleaner down on the inside of the egg carton.

5Dress up your caterpillar with wiggly eyes. Use a Sharpie or any permanent black marker to draw a smile.

6Finished.
